My main reason is that I want to fix my own body. I can see things I want to fix but I don’t know how to do it. When I have learned how to fix my own body I want to help others. I partly work as a massage therapist and I want to be able help my patients better. A bonus would be to be able sprint well. I did track & field when I was younger, but stopped due to injuries and pain. I have been doing some sprinting lately as a master athlete, but my body is not ready for that.
My back and neck has been bothering me for a couple of years now. My lumbar is very compressed and I have a hip hike on the right side. Not sure what’s going on with my upper back and neck but I do have discomfort in those areas. I get migraines from time to time.
I started with FP 3 years ago and I do feel stronger and more stable in my body. I wouldn’t say I have a lot of pain, more aches and discomfort. So in one way it is better but I am not sure I see any visual changes. I have done the 10-week course, Human Foundations course, and I have almost finished the Functional Training System course. I still do FP but I honestly don’t know how to fix my issues.
I have planned to hopefully join the program during spring, if not earlier, depending on if there are any free spots and I get accepted. I have planned for it financially and wanted to make sure I had the right equipment, so hopefully it will work out.
I live in Falköping, Sweden and the time zone is GMT +1
Tuesdays and Wednesdays are normally good days for me and I can be pretty flexible from around 9-10 am to maybe 7 pm CET. Fridays could work as well from around 9-10 am to 4-5 pm CET. Weekends is also an option if needed.
